On Saturday 18 May in Manchester (Great Britain), President Bach attended semi-finals and finals of the World Taekwondo Championships. He was welcomed by Chungwon Choue, the President of World Taekwondo (WT) and accompanied by IOC EB member Ser Miang Ng. The two Presidents visited the Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation (THF) booth, where they met with members of the Refugee Team who competed at these Championships. For President Bach, “these were truly spectacular world championships with the sporting action matched only by the excitement and enjoyment of the crowds.
